Susan Stewart’s Comedy Show & Book Launch Was a Hit

October 1, 2026 | Last night, we got to do one of our favourite parts of this job: stand in a room full of people and say, “The book is real! It’s here! We did it!”

At Entourage, the books that excite us most are the ones that have the potential to do something once they’re out in the world. They might change a conversation. Help someone see something differently. Give someone language for something they’ve been struggling to explain. Or simply make a reader feel a little less alone.

A Bit More Than a Rough Patch does all of those things. And so does author, Susan Stewart.

Susan brings doesn’t approach mental health from a distance. She brings her own experience, her perspective as a comedian, and the understanding that humour can sometimes help us get close to subjects that otherwise feel too heavy to touch.

Her book doesn’t make light of mental health. It makes room for honesty, seriousness, absurdity, vulnerability, and yes, some very funny moments along the way.

We are so proud that Entourage had the opportunity to help bring it into the world.

On September 30, 2026, at The Registry Theatre in Kitchener, fans, friends, and families assembled to celebrate A Bit More Than a Rough Patch, laugh together, and ultimately leave thinking a little differently than they did when they arrived.

Books, merch, an incredible comedy show on mental health, and an audience of laughter (complete with snort laughs) made this event (and Susan Stewart) a smash hit.
