November Novel-Writing Challange

Happy writing month, all! NaNoWriMo may be dead, but that doesn’t mean we can’t all write 50,000 words as a challenge to ourselves and each other.

50,000 in 30 days = 1667 words per day. That’s roughly 8 pages a day.

It doesn’t matter if those 8 pages are horrid or beautiful; the goal is just to write your first draft. Whether you ever edit and publish beyond that is a problem for another day. I like the idea of a November Novel-Writing Challenge because it pushes anyone on the fence about writing, right off of it. No fear. Just start writing today. Whatever happens, happens.

The challenge is to ignite creativity and embrace a love for storytelling. And with only 30 days, procrastination is nearly impossible.
